This is the best part of my bar!
This is one side of the completed bar,
the other side of the room is a 10' bar &
Stools.
This was the beginning
This is before the mirrors, etc. The Beer
Box is now stained as in the top picture.
This was the first step
The bar is wonderful, too
bad that as soon as it was all
completed, I moved! That is
OK, the only thing missing is
the room itself, a new one is
underway now!
Visit the link to the right and
take a look at where my idea
came from. It is actually
pretty simple to build.

The secret is the external
thermostat, it keeps the deep
freeze from getting too cold,
yet, being a freezer, it will
keep the beer much colder
than a regular refrigerator
type keg box.

Mine is big enough to put a
15.5gal. Commercial keg in,
those little kegerator types
only hold the short ones and
the temp only goes down to
about 40 degrees. They also
cost a bundle, I have maybe
$400 in mine.

My Beer Box, will also, at the
same time, hold two 5 gallon
corny kegs! I also have an
even bigger chest that will
hold 3 commercial kegs (15.5
gal) and a few corny's. I use
it mostly for brewing lagers,
unless I have a really big
party!
This was the beginning, before the
drip-drain, etc. Follow this link to see
where I got the idea.

This was a bit later, but before the staining
This was after the drip drain, with 2 taps,
now it has 4 and is stained as the top pic
