What are Homebrewing Tools?
These are things that not only make brewing easier, but
possible.
Pots, Kettles, burners, spoons, stirrers, thermometers,
car-boys (5-6.5 gallon Glass bottle for fermenting), Air-locks,
racking canes, hose, are the basics. Once you get going and
do "All Grain" or "Partial Mash" you will need more. When you
start kegging, of course there is more.

That is the beauty of it, you can purchase things in steps and
that lets you know how serious you are.
BeerSmith is a wonderful tool, I use it and love it. However,
when I first started, I used Beer Tools. Beer Tools has a free
version and it is on their website, you have a big collection
of recipes and they also sell supplies.

You can upgrade to Gold for a small fee, and that is a year at
a time. This is a great way to start, because if you don't like
brewing, why spend the money? Should you decide you like
it, and I am sure that you will, If you like "Real Beer" that is.

Then, at that time, spend the $20 or whatever it is for
BeerSmith or, now, you can get BeerTools Pro for download,
this is another awesome program! There is also another one
called ProMash, but I am not familiar with it. There are also
others available, some you may find links to here, see which
works best for you.

Visit the links on all the pages that interest you, that is how
you will learn, then make up your mind.

Hey everybody! Come on in and have a HomeBrew!
Dispensing, or serving your beer
is also an issue, you can build your
own kegerator, or buy one, that is
a matter of not only personal
preference, but finances as well.

You can build your own for less
and it could have more capacity as
well. How handy are you at building
things? Maybe that is the way you
should go? Look through the
whole site and you will find more
info about building your own, as
well as links for equipment.
This is the best part of my bar!
